1. What's a Helkit?

Just a nickname we adopted through the years.

2. Can I bring a date?

Check your invitation envelope and if you have questions, ask.

3. Are kids welcome?

Yes, just make sure to include them when you RSVP.

4. What's the dress code?

Colorful, dressy casual. Oh, and don't forget your sunnies and maybe something to keep you warm in case it gets cold at night. Please note the venue has uneven grounds and some gravel, so choose your footwear carefully!

5. Will we be outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors but cocktails and reception will be in lovely greenhouses that are mostly indoors.

6. How do I get to the ceremony?

There is no parking at the venue. The best way to get to the ceremony is to meet at the Kimpton Goodland and jump on our school buses. Buses will be leaving at 3:15pm and 3:30pm. If you are unable to get on the provided bus and need to drive to the venue, let us know.

7. Can I take pictures?

During the ceremony, we ask that you turn off your phones and put away your cameras. Don't worry we paid a photographer to make sure to get the perfect shots, so you don't have to. You're more than welcome to take pictures the rest of the time though! Don't forget to use the hashtag #thehelkits so we can ohh and ahhh at them later.

8. Will Boba be there?

Luckily the venue allows one dog, so she will be there giving kisses and hoping people drop food. But please don't fall for her sad puppy eyes and feed her anything.

9. Where will the reception be?

The reception is just down the road from the ceremony. The bus can take you to the reception, but it's also a short walk if you want to stretch out your legs and take in the beautiful grounds.

10. How will I get back to the hotel?

The bus will take you back. They will be leaving every half hour from 8:30pm to 10:30pm.

11. What if I have more questions?
